PLANE CRASH DREAM

I dreamt that I was on a plane that was crash landing. I was sitting in a small section in the back. The plane wasn't all that modern because in the bathroom at the back of the plane, it was all enclosed in glass like a greenhouse with small panes of glass. I could see the ground out the window, so I decided to go back to my seat.

I had trouble getting my seatbelt on because it was adjusted for someone much smaller. I struggled with it and finally made it fit snug. There were also convenient foot buckles to strap your feet to the floor. I looked to my left as I watch Hume Cronyn say that he needed to use the bathroom next because he needed to check his sugar - as he picked up his boxed glucose meter. Jessica Tandy, Hume Cronyn's wife, was a few seats ahead of him telling him that he should use the one that she brought. No one seemed to care all that much that we were actually crash landing and needed to stay in our seats. Hume went into the bathroom anyway.

At this time, I could see all the way to the front of the plane and out the front windows where the pilots normally sit - like I was watching a movie. I could see that we were very close to the water and flying very close to ships and docks. We actually squeezed through a very tight space at one point that I thought we were going to crash into. As we got further out to the ocean, our pilot was trying to warn a boat that we were about to crash into them.

The impact wasn't noticeable. We looked forward to see that the entire front of the plane was no longer attached. We all unbuckled our seat belts and started moving towards the front to escape. I was holding onto my luggage, even though it was heavy, I thought they might make good floatation devices. Suddenly, it became an issue of weight as we wanted to escape and not sink our remaining part of the plane. People were concerned that if we all tried to leave at one, that we would overturn it and be trapped as it sank.

Then I woke up.
